A 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE, formerly belonging to the Royal Household and used by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be visiting Bicester Heritage when it is offered in the Bonhams MPH Sale on 22 May.
Originally supplied new to the Royal couple via Land Rover's VIP Department for their personal use, the 4x4 has also been photographed with the Duke and Duchess on an official visit to Perthshire in 2013.
The Royal Family has been linked to the British firm for seven decades, with many senior Royals seen being driven or taking the wheel of different Land Rover models, with the L405 Range Rover model, the one offered by Bonhams MPH, being a popular choice with the Windsors.
Naturally, this example is a top of the range Vogue SE, powered by a 340bhp 4.4-litre V8 diesel engine, with Baltic blue livery offset by 20" alloy wheels and a contrasting Almond and Espresso leather interior.
As befitting its royal status, it was fitted with many optional extras including advanced park assist, heated front and rear seats, a panoramic glass roof, side steps, electric front seats, Meridian sound system, front and rear parking sensors (with reversing camera), remote garage door opener, remote park heat facility, a drinks fridge, electric tow bar, and a range of additional safety features.
This example has also unusually retained its original registration. Generally, Land Rovers and Range Rovers used by the Royal Household have their vehicle registration numbers changed once out of service.
The Vogue SE has covered fewer than 39,000 miles since new and is presented in excellent condition, offering a rare opportunity for its next custodian to live like royalty.
The Bonhams MPH May sale marks a welcome return to the traditional live drive-through Bonhams format with the auctioneer on the rostrum and a limited socially-distanced audience in The Hanger at Bicester Heritage on Saturday 22 May, in accordance with local COVID-related restrictions.
The sale will also be livestreamed via bonhams.com and online, telephone and absentee bids will also be accepted.
All lots will be available to view onsite on Friday 21 May. In addition, live and interactive video condition reports and enhanced online 'walk around video' preview content will be made available to bidders.
